This course is available to incoming freshman students during Summer School. This introductory, one-credit course is designed to guide incoming students through a variety of learning activities with the goal of accessing the resources, skills, and support they need to experience a successful transition to high school. The course will introduce students key ETHS staff members and teach them how to access various school-based supports and resources. Students will learn Google applications and organizational skills to prepare them for ETHS’ academically rigorous courses. Through a series of fun and collaborative activities, students will become familiar with the culture of ETHS, explore the campus and building, and learn school procedures while building a sense of community with other incoming freshman students. Elective credit is given for this course.
